“You have the Blue Zone figured out exactly!”Honey Piazza, of Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers

“I’ve just spent the most wonderful few days reading your book. I couldn’t put it down and when I was forced to, it was one of those books that you can’t wait to pick up again. That’s the sign of a good book to me, The setting being in England, the characters you fall in love with, the way it makes you feel so good after reading it, the plots within plots of all the different characters… One of my favorite authors is Maeve Binchy and this story reminded me so much of her writing. Can’t wait to read Volume 2!” *****

“Oh. In her defense she was reluctant to follow me here but I’m new in town and unfamiliar with the goings-on. My name is Katherine.”

As always when Paul took the time for it, the sight of the castle, dark and gloomy as it was, filled him with a sense of familiarity and pride. He and his best friend had spent many a childhood hour there playing hero knights who saved the town from doom.

Katherine approached the pub, The Wicked Mule, where she turned right. A group of patrons was ejected from its corner doorway, on their heels a Led Zeppelin blues song. She closed her eyes against the familiarity of every lick and chord.

Turning his gaze towards the sun, Steve concluded that it would not reach much warmth beyond its watery yellow color. Its rays played on the water with the tenderness of fingers stroking piano keys. He could almost hear the notes.
